Olympic ratings have dropped to a 30 year low. This is amazing considering how easy it is to watch the Olympics with the ability to stream events over the internet.
Many people will blame it on Covid. Some say the Olympics are becoming too political. Well duh? The Olympics have always been about politics.
I blame it on the fact that our athletes are spending more time protesting than training and Covid is just a convenient excuse to be at less than peak condition.
Now add that to the ongoing wussification of competition rules and this is what you get.
